DESIGN FEATURES:

Machine

MASSIVE BED

The welded bed structure made of thick-walled profile metal meets all regulatory requirements for rigidity, bending, and torsion. The high vibration resistance of the bed ensures high-quality glass edge processing.
Machine

WORKING LOADING AND UNLOADING CONVEYOR

The horizontal belt of the loading conveyor serves as the initial reference surface for setting the grinding units to the removal amount and moves the glass onto the feed conveyor mechanism. Adjusting the horizontal position of the conveyor feed surface with the adjustment screw ensures precise glass processing geometry.
The unloading conveyor ensures convenient exit of the processed product from the processing zone and its reception by the operator for removal from the machine.
Machine

GLASS FEED CONVEYOR MECHANISM

During processing, the glass workpiece is held in the machine between the plates of the base and pressure conveyors. The durable metal conveyor links are coated with vulcanized rubber. This guarantees the reliability and stability of the workpiece transport system, which is necessary to obtain a geometrically correct bevel.
The working surface of the base conveyor links (tracks) consists of a ground rubber layer, with a maximum tolerance of ±0.01 mm, and a metal backing. Any track can be removed and replaced if necessary. The rods connecting the tracks are made of stainless steel. The rods are fitted with water-sealed ball bearings. Conveyor movement is carried out along high-precision guides, which prevents deflection and sagging. The entire design ensures precise conveyor movement, excluding any deviation from the set plane.
The working surface of the pressure conveyor links is made of soft rubber, which provides the pressure needed to hold the weight of the workpiece during processing. The link surface has a special shape that compensates for inaccuracies in the actual glass thickness.
Machine

TOOTHED BELT OF LOADING AND UNLOADING CONVEYOR

The workpiece is fed into the processing zone by the conveyor's toothed belt, which ensures uniform workpiece movement. The conveyor's toothed belt tension is adjusted using screws. The belts of the input and output conveyors can move workpieces weighing up to 600 kg. The guides of these conveyors are made of polyurethane, a material with a low friction coefficient and high abrasion resistance.
Machine

VERTICAL ROLLER SUPPORT GUIDES

Provide reliable positioning of the glass in the vertical plane at all processing stages, from loading to unloading. The height arrangement of the rollers allows processing glass of various sizes. The rollers are made of an abrasion- and wear-resistant material.
Machine

STEPLESS FEED SPEED ADJUSTMENT

The machine's feed speed is adjusted using a variator. This allows setting the required feed speed depending on the parameters of the glass being processed (glass thickness and removal amount). High processing quality and long service life of the feed drive motor are achieved by eliminating overloads.
Machine

HIGH-PRECISION SPINDLE UNITS

The spindle unit consists of an electric motor and is mounted on rigid guides. The tool, rigidly fixed on the spindle, ensures reliable, vibration-free, high-quality processing of the bevel and glass edge. The processing tool is secured using a mechanical fixing system. Special attention is paid to bearing protection: the seal set provides three levels of protection against water ingress into the spindle unit. All motors are equipped with a cooling fan.
Machine

SPINDLE DRIVE ELECTRIC MOTORS

Equipping the machine with CE-compliant electric motors ensures the reliability and longevity of its operation.
Machine

SPINDLE UNIT GUIDES

Rigid, high-precision guides made of hardened steel ensure precise parallel movement of the spindle units when adjusting the bevel removal amount and glass edge grinding. The spindle units are adjusted to the removal amount using a graduated handle with an accuracy of ± up to 0.05 mm.
Machine

ROTATION DRIVE FOR THE BEVEL GROUP OF SPINDLE UNITS

The spindle units that process the bevel on the glass are arranged in a row on a powerful single platform. The platform rotates around an axis to the set bevel processing angle by means of an electric motor with bevel gears connected by a synchronizing shaft, ensuring smooth and uniform changes in the processing angle.
Machine

SPINDLE DRIVE ELECTRIC MOTORS

Equipping the machine with CE-compliant electric motors ensures the reliability and longevity of its operation.
Machine

COOLING SYSTEM

The machine is equipped with a coolant recirculation system. The set includes two tanks for closed-loop water circulation. The tanks are made of stainless steel, ensuring their durability and protecting the surface from corrosion. The first tank is for water-cooling the tools of the grinding group. The second tank is for polishing the glass with cerium oxide using the polishing group tools.

LOAD AMMETERS FOR SPINDLE UNIT DRIVES

Ammeters are installed on the control panel for each grinding and polishing unit drive motor, allowing visual monitoring of the tool load during glass edge processing. This ensures the most efficient processing mode, preventing overload of the electric motors.
Machine

MACHINE CONTROL PANEL AND SAFETY SYSTEM

The ergonomic control panel, conveniently located on the front of the machine, ensures easy maintenance and machine control. Two emergency stop buttons at the machine's input and output provide enhanced operating safety.
Machine

CENTRALIZED LUBRICATION UNIT

Allows lubrication in hard-to-reach areas of spindle unit guides, conveyor chain links, drives, etc. This ensures convenient maintenance and reduces wear on units and mechanisms.
Machine

CNC ON XM 251(PLC)

The conveniently located control panel, installed on the front of the machine, is designed to adjust all glass processing steps. The main instruments monitoring the units allow automatic tracking of the load on the grinding wheels during glass edge processing.
Machine

DIGITAL DISPLAY ON XM 251(DD)

In this control version, the actual information is displayed, the same as on the CNC model,
but there is no data on productivity (volume of processed glass, linear m) or data on the current glass position. All parameters are set not from the touch display but using special controls.

ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION:

Machine GLASS WASHING UNIT

Provides thorough removal of residual cerium oxide from the glass or mirror surface after bevel polishing. The glass washing unit is controlled from a separate panel, which provides comprehensive control of all working units.
