Factory Inspection & QC

Discovering that equipment does not meet specification after it arrives at your facility — 6,000 kilometres from the factory — is one of the most costly outcomes in international procurement. Factory inspection and pre-shipment QC catches problems at the point where correcting them is still manageable: before the equipment is packed, loaded, and departed. Our inspectors attend at the factory, check what was actually built against what was ordered, and confirm readiness for shipment.

What is included

• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) attendance and witness
• Dimensional verification — physical measurements against approved drawings
• Material and component verification — checking bills of materials and actual installed parts
• Visual inspection — workmanship, weld quality, surface finish, coating
• Functional test witness — equipment run-test under load where applicable
• Documentation review — certificates, manuals, spare parts list
• Packing inspection — ensuring export packing is adequate for the transit
• Inspection report with photographs and non-conformance log

How the project proceeds

1. Receive the purchase documentation — drawings, specifications, order
2. Coordinate inspection date and access with the manufacturer
3. Conduct the inspection and issue the report within 48 hours
4. Track any non-conformances to resolution before shipment is authorised
