Technical Supervision

Technical supervision is the on-site quality assurance function on behalf of the owner. Our supervisors verify that civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works are carried out in accordance with the approved design documentation, applicable standards, and contract requirements — catching deviations before they are buried in concrete or enclosed behind panels.

What is included

• Review of contractor's method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs)
• Attendance at hold points and witness points during construction
• Verification of materials and equipment delivered to site against specifications
• Non-conformance identification and tracking to resolution
• Supervision of equipment installation and alignment
• Participation in pre-commissioning checks and commissioning activities
• Daily and weekly supervision reports to the project manager and owner

How the project proceeds

1. Review design documentation and develop a site supervision plan
2. Mobilise supervisors to site at the start of relevant construction or installation phases
3. Conduct daily site inspections and attend critical hold points
4. Report findings to the owner and track non-conformances to closure
