EPCM — Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management — is the most comprehensive project delivery model available. Under an EPCM contract, we take direct responsibility for managing all engineering outputs, all procurement activities, and all construction and installation works, while contracts with individual contractors and suppliers remain with the owner. The owner benefits from a single management interface without surrendering contractual control.

EPCM requires a team that can manage engineering, procurement, and construction simultaneously — and resolve the inevitable interfaces between them. Our integrated EPS and PMC experience means we have done all three disciplines in practice, not just in management theory.

In an EPC contract, the contractor takes full risk and responsibility including for construction; in EPCM, the owner retains contracts with individual firms and the EPCM contractor manages on the owner's behalf — reducing risk for the contractor and maintaining owner control.
EPCM is most valuable on mid-to-large industrial projects where multiple engineering disciplines, procurement streams, and construction contractors are involved simultaneously — typically from $5 million upward.
