Design Documentation Review & Approval

When a design organisation produces engineering documentation, the owner needs assurance that the documents are technically correct and project-complete before construction begins. Errors identified during construction cost ten to a hundred times more to correct than the same errors caught at review stage. We provide independent technical review of design documentation, identify deficiencies, and manage the resolution process with the design team.

What is included

• Review of process engineering documents — flow diagrams, mass balances, equipment datasheets
• Review of layout and general arrangement drawings
• Review of P&IDs, electrical single-line diagrams, and instrumentation documents
• Compliance check against applicable standards (ISO, IEC, local regulations)
• Identification of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies
• Comments schedule issuance and tracking of designer responses
