Cullet (recycled glass) reduces furnace energy consumption, extends furnace life, and reduces the raw materials requirement — every 10% increase in cullet usage reduces energy consumption by approximately 3%. The GCC glass industry is growing its cullet usage, driven by sustainability targets and material cost savings.
