Food Can Production Line

A TURNKEY CONFIGURATION FOR TWO-PIECE FOOD CAN PRODUCTION — BUILT ON OUR EXPERIENCE DELIVERING D&I CAN LINES.

Producing your own food cans removes dependence on imported packaging, but launching a can line is not a single equipment purchase. It is the integration of many process units into one continuous line, spanning engineering, procurement, logistics, customs clearance and commissioning. We select the forming technology that fits your volume and can range, configure the line, and manage delivery to rated capacity. The UAE and GCC food and canning industry is a natural market for local can production, as it reduces import dependence and shortens supply chains.

What the solution includes

  • Technology selection between Drawn & Ironed (D&I) for high-volume round cans and Draw-Redraw (DRD) for lower volumes and non-round formats
  • Line layout, capacity calculation and equipment selection for your can sizes and output
  • Core forming equipment — cupping, body forming, trimming
  • Washing, drying, internal coating and curing systems
  • Leak and quality inspection equipment throughout the line
  • Conveying systems linking each stage of the line
  • Logistics, customs clearance and site delivery from manufacturers in Asia
  • Technical supervision, commissioning and ramp-up to rated capacity

How the project proceeds

  1. Define can types, target capacity and site conditions
  2. Choose between D&I and DRD, develop the technology concept and agree the delivery model
  3. Execute procurement, manufacturing supervision and logistics to site
  4. Commission the line, ramp up to capacity and provide post-launch support

Why Infinity

We have delivered D&I can line projects for aluminium beverage cans, and the same project approach applies to food cans. This page describes a configuration we are ready to deliver, not a completed food can project. Our procurement network across Asia and our project management experience let us deliver what we propose.

What is the difference between D&I and DRD?

D&I suits high-volume round cans; DRD suits lower volumes and non-round formats with simpler, more economical machinery.

Which delivery model is right for our project?

It depends on how much of the project you want to manage yourself, from equipment supply only to full turnkey delivery.

Can we buy part of the line only?

Yes, individual machines or sections can be supplied if you already have part of the line.

Where is the equipment sourced from?

From manufacturers in China, South Korea and India.
