Balance-of-plant (BoP) materials account for 20–30% of utility solar project CAPEX but are often the least visible procurement scope. Delays in BoP cable, conduit, or switchgear delivery can hold up construction as critically as panel or inverter supply. We supply the full BoP material package for solar projects, co-ordinated with the main equipment delivery schedule.

What we supply

• DC cabling — single-core XLPE/EPR solar cables, UV-resistant
• AC medium-voltage cables — for inverter station to grid connection
• Cable trays, conduit, and duct systems for cable management
• MV switchgear — ring main units, circuit breakers for collection network
• Earthing and lightning protection materials — earth rods, tapes, surge arresters
• CCTV security systems and perimeter fencing for plant security
• Meteorological stations for site irradiance and weather monitoring

How the project proceeds

1. Issue the BoP materials list from the project design
2. Source materials from qualified suppliers; prepare a co-ordinated delivery schedule
3. Manage procurement and logistics aligned with the construction programme
4. Support materials inspection on delivery and handle non-conformance reporting
