OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production means manufacturing to the client's specification under the client's brand. ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) production goes further — the factory designs the product and manufactures it under the client's label. Both models allow companies to bring branded products to market without owning their own manufacturing facilities. We manage the complete OEM/ODM sourcing and production process in China, from factory selection to delivered goods in the UAE.
OEM/ODM projects fail most often in two places: selecting the wrong factory, and losing control of quality at scale. Our China presence and factory network address both risks — we select manufacturers we know and maintain ongoing quality oversight throughout production runs.
We work across industrial goods, equipment components, consumer products, and packaging. We assess each category individually — some products involve intellectual property or regulatory considerations that affect the approach.
MOQ depends on the product and factory. We negotiate MOQs with factories on behalf of the client and can often reduce initial batch requirements for new product launches.
We use non-disclosure agreements and work with legal counsel for IP-sensitive projects. China's IP protection framework has improved substantially; the risk level depends on the specific product and manufacturing process.
